Merry Christmas… and thanks

Christmas carol

I’m dreaming of a green Christmas
With organic spuds and local ham.
Let us raise our glasses
We’ve all earned passes
To spend the day with friends and fam.

I’m dreaming of a green Christmas
With every Christmas card I email.
I love you dearly, of course
But let’s not waste a resource

Sending tree fibre through the mail.

I’m dreaming of a green Christmas
Where we love each other more than stuff.

Let us all remember
This December
We all have more than just enough.

My dear readers, thank you for a wonderful year. I love that you care enough about your family, planet and community to spend precious time reading and supporting this blog. When I started Down to Earth Mother, it was a place to fly my green flag without being confrontational or feeling like the crazy lady with the tin foil hat. Your support and encouragement has not only allowed me to continue on my path to sustainability but has inspired me to do more and do better.

I wish you a very happy Christmas and hope you will forgive my terrible lyric-writing.

Merry Christmas Jo, from one crazy lady in a tin foil hat to another! Your blog has made me feel so much more sane and definitely more inspired this year!

Love the song, and enjoy your break.

Just caught up with your Christmas song. Love it – we can do the tabs for the ukulele and do a performance for next Christmas!
